120309 – Picture of the day
Editor’s comments: Adeline’s and Kang li’s photos are the mirror opposites of each other. One features a clear subject in a moving background, while hers is a moving subject on a clear background. And I think both are the stronger photos for today.
However, I would choose Adeline’s simply because of the composition. The straight lines, the trees in the background looming over the child having fun, the outstretched legs, all these combine to give this image a sense of serenity, yet playfulness. A conceptual image nontheless, but I do appreciate it.
