130309 – Picture of the day
Editor’s comments: Too many trolleys, too few tourists/shoppers with the economic crunch? Whatever the reason, this picture is visually arresting because of its balance of busy lines of trolleys and the comparatively relaxed pattern on the ground. The top half works to occupy the eye while the bottom half gives the eye some breathing space. The bluish tinge gives the picture a somewhat cold feel – presumably this is the airport, where people come and go and would not stay for long.
